Mr. Guan Tay is a Melbourne-trained Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hip and knee joint replacements, knee arthroscopy, reconstructive surgery, and sports injuries of the upper and lower limb.
Guan's surgical practice is guided by evidence-based principles. He utilises various techniques to optimise patient outcomes including computer navigation, minimally invasive surgery, pain control, early mobilisation and rapid recovery protocols.
Guan has published in multiple International Orthopaedic journals, presented at national conferences and is a scientific reviewer for the Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Research. He keeps abreast of leadng edge technologies and is committed to continual medical education. He teaches future doctors and Orthopaedic trainees through his public appointments and associations with Melbourne's major universities.
